Shilshole Bay Marina is located on Puget Sound with breathtaking views of the Olympic mountain range. This marina offers a fuel dock, ship’s store, restrooms, showers, and plenty of free parking. Situated nearby the fine dining of Ray’s Boathouse, and Golden Gardens Park with its popular beach! Our members boat to Blake Island Marine State Park, Bainbridge Island, Tacoma, Gig Harbor, Paulsbo, and beyond from this convenient saltwater access location. Members can also take boats as far as the San Juans, although most prefer to cut their travel time by leaving from our Bellingham location!

Shilshole Bay is in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle, and is one of the most beautiful marinas in Seattle. With five other locations at Fishermen’s Terminal, Bellevue, Kirkland, Bellingham, and Lake Chelan, you never have to worry about trailering or going through the locks to enjoy all the different boating activities you’d like!
About eight nautical miles North of downtown Seattle, Shilshole Bay is perfectly located for direct access to fishing and sailing the Puget Sound. Our saltwater location provides direct access to downtown Seattle and beyond. With 1400 slips protected by a 4000 ft breakwater, and a long waiting list for moorage, Shilshole is no doubt one of the most desirable marinas to boat from in all of the Pacific Northwest. Keep an eye out for sea lions around the marina – they’re frequently spotted sunning along the rocks!
